Stacy and Matt

Stacy and Matt were wed on Saturday January 17, 2009 at the Historic Naylor House in Roswell, GA. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony. Stacy had designed a snowflake theme for the wedding and just after they both said "I do!" it started to snow! Amazing! Magical! You could not have asked for anything more perfect!

The bridal party along with the entire congregation traveled far and wide to be here on Stacy and Matt's big day! Family and Friends came from New Jersey, Philadelphia, PA., Michigan and of course Atlanta! That is one of the things I love about photography, it allows me to meet so many people from some many different places and cultures. We had a great time with everyone!

The crowd threw red rose petals as the couple left Naylor Hall destined for the W hotel for the evening! Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!

Joanna and Homer

Joanna and Homer were wed on January 10, 2009 at the Pristine Wedding Chapel in Jonesboro, Ga. I have known Joanna for quite a while and I knew this would be a wedding to remember. The chapel was so beautifully decorated along with a stunning reception hall.

The bride was a classic beauty in her unbelievable gown along with a few delicate feathers in her hair.

Joanna and Homer are great fun. The reception was a blast and their getaway golf cart was awesome! Good luck guys, have fun, and Joanna I will see you soon!

Katharine and Josh

Katharine and Josh were wed on Tuesday December 30, 2008 at the beautiful Peachtree Christian Church in downtown Atlanta. It was one of the most breath taking churches I have seen. The brides gown was simple yet elegant with a cathedral veil. The reception was held at the Imperial Ballroom at the Biltmore. It was gorgeous.

The bridal party was a lot of fun and they really got into some of the less traditional shots I like to do!

Katharine and Josh were the type of couple that glows when they are together. It was very easy to see how in love they are with one another. Happy New Year Katharine and Josh! We had a great time with everyone!

Brittany and Nick

My nephew Nick married his childhood sweetheart on Saturday December 27, 2009. It was a lovely private ceremony for just close friends and family. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding and I believe we achieved some really beautiful shots. Brittany was gorgeous, of course and I have never seen Nick so handsome.

They were wed in a historic home in Athens, Georgia.

Rebekah and Gregg

Rebekah and Gregg were wed on Saturday December 20, 2008 at the Church of Joy in Williamson, GA. The weather was unusually warm for this time of year which really aided us in getting some outside photographs. The church was beautifully decorated in everything Christmas. There was a tree with a variety of ornaments and lights, garland, wreaths and lots of tiny lights.

The Bride prepared at the Banquet Hall of Alvaton, near Gay, GA. The bridal suite is truly exceptional here. The reception was also held at the Banquet Hall.

The bridesmaids were a lot of fun. Here is a shot of them all wearing their favorite shoes. They didn't wear these for the wedding, just for this shot :)

Santa Claus!

Yesterday I was excited to spend the evening with Santa in Barnesville, GA! I have never done Santa photos before so this was exciting to me! I had a great time and it was amazing to see all the bright-eyed and sometimes teary-eyed children! :) Santa was awesome, of course and I was obviously on my best behavior in front of the him.

Thanks for having me, Southern Rivers Energy, it was great fun.

Natalie and Kraig

Natalie and Kraig are going to be married in May of 2009. I had a great time with them today and feel that we achieved a good mixture of classic images along with a burst of fun! We spent the afternoon at Piedmont Park. I love the versatility of this place, it has the coziness of a beautiful park being watched by a bustling city giving it a unique feel.

This was one of my favorite images from our shoot and instantly went up on our main website!

Natalie and Kraig were so fun and loved doing a jumping shot! Ok, so Natalie loved a little bit more than Kraig but he was a great sport!

Lauren and Alex

Lauren and Alex are getting married in June of 2009. We spent today shooting their engagement photographs. The weather was perfect for us and they were such a beautiful couple. They were very easy to shoot and I could see the bond they shared which flowed into the lens.

This was my favorite image from today. I love the faded sepia effect allowing for the reds to pop!

Alex had a fun time doing these shots!

I met Lisa and Collin today at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta to shoot their engagement photographs. They are getting married in June 2009. They were so cute together. They claimed to be slightly awkward in front of the camera but as we continued our shoot they became very comfortable. They were a lot of fun with some creative ideas of their own! I know their wedding is going to be a blast!

Lisa had the idea for this shot and I think it turned out really awesome!

Vanessa and Cliff

Vanessa and Cliff are getting married in March of 2009. Today we spent part of the chilly afternoon shooting their engagment photos. We went to Winn Park in downtown Atlanta. This location was the very place that Cliff proposed. It is a special place to them. They were so cute and affectionate during the shoot. I had a great time getting some great shots with both of them today.

The Hinds Family

Yesterday I spent late afternoon with the Hinds Family at their home. We began our portrait session with some formal shots but also allowed for some interaction and personality to show through. These are the shots I love. I find a photograph truly intriguing we you can see the emotion on the faces of those on the paper.

We ended our shoot on a much more relaxed note. We headed down to the waterfront in their community, one of the families favorite places.

The girls were so beautiful, this is one of my favorite shots of the day!

Lisa and Stephen are getting married in June 2009 in Fayetteville, GA. Today we spent the morning shooting their engagement photographs. I always love being able to spend this time with my clients. It allows for them to get a feel for how the photography will go on their wedding day and also allows me to see how open they are in front of the camera. We had a great time today and the weather was perfect! It was easy to get such great shots today with such a cute couple.

Pat and Allen renewed their wedding vows on October 25, 2008 at their home surrounded by family and close friends. The couple have been married for 30 years and still have that new found love about them. It was wonderful and encouraging to see. As a wedding photographer I see young couples with stars in their eyes countless times throughout the year but it was nice to see a result of all those starry eyes and new beginnings, a happy long-lasting marriage.

The wedding was filled with tiny intimate details for friends and family to participate in the event. This wishing tree was for guests to write personal notes to the bride and groom.

These beautiful rings were exchanged on Saturday and placed on their right hands.

After 30 years the couple couldn't bare to replace the rings that have meant so much to them.

Pat and Allen's children were also included in the ceremony and were given symbolic gifts to represent unconditional love.

The result of a young couple's commitment....a beautiful growing family.

The reception was so much fun filled with music, friends and wonderful food.

Lori and Daniel

This past Saturday on October 18, 2008 I had the honor of photographing one of my very good friends' wedding. Lori and Daniel were wed by the sea on Jekyll Island. Their ceremony was as unique and quirky as the couple themselves! The love the two of them have for one another was uplifting to see.

The guys were a little resistant to doing a jump shot but the bride insisted and it turned out great!

Lori and Daniel had a fairytale wedding and I hope that they have a happily ever after! I love the both of you and thank you for letting me capture such an important day of your lives.

Angela and Andrew were wed on Saturday October 4, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Marietta. The church was beautiful with the early afternoon light cascading through the stained glass windows. The reception followed at the Whitlock Inn across the street from the church.

They are one of the cutest, most loving, and hilarious couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. I wish them all the best and hope they are having a wonderful time in England!

I loved the brightly colored flowers that complemented the bridesmaids dresses.

I had a great time photographing a beautiful family for their fall photos. The boys were so cute and loved playing on the playground. I love to photograph children in this type of setting, natural, allowing for their personalities to come through the lens and onto the image.

It was a little difficult to get them to pose together but I loved this shot that was the result!

Here she is, baby Mallory. She is 7 weeks old and so cute! She is the most easy going baby I have ever seen. I photographed her Mommy for a maternity session not too long ago and now she is here. She is a doll! Congratulations Heather on a beautiful baby girl.

Jessica and Michael were wed at Hanlighter Methodist Church in Griffin on September 20, 2008. It was a beautiful old church decorated with warm colors and candle light. The reception was held at the Moose Lodge. The party that followed was energetic with lots of dancing. The bridal party was so excited about the union being celebrated.

To round out the weekend I shot Gael and Paul's engagement session in Molena, Ga. on Sunday. They were so cute together and you could see the excitement about their upcoming marriage on their faces. We did the photoshoot at the Whiskey Barn in Molena. It was a beautiful country scene with a great couple.

Katie and Lane

Katie and Lane were wed on September 13, 2008 in Braselton, Ga. The location was the Chateau Elan Winery which was incredible. The ceremony was on the front lawn with acres of grape vines and a setting sun to complete the scene.

The reception was definitely a party to remember. Wine was poured all around and the air was filled with sounds of "Footloose" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". We had a blast!

Last night I was so lucky to be able to spend it with a wonderful growing family. The night was a celebration to welcome home three little ones through the miracle of adoption. Zakiya and Jeffrey were wed on August 30, 2008 at The Flint Hill Historic Home in Norcross. They were the most adorable couple I have seen. Zakiya looked stunning in her gown. The venue was amazing and we really got some great photos.

They had one of the most memorable first dances I have ever seen! It was excellently choreographed and full of surprises! It went from smooth R&B to Rap to Pop and back again! It was unforgettable! I loved it!

We had a great time with you guys and I hope that you are enjoying yourselves!

Angela and Justin were wed August 23, 2008 at the First Christian Church of Tyrone. It was a beautiful wedding with a beautiful couple. The rain held off just long enough for us to get some wonderful shots. The ceremony was simple and classic. The reception was festive with all of the decorative lanterns and lights. They were a lot of fun to get to know and we had an amazing time today.

This was one of my favorite shots of the day.

Flush Mount Wedding Albums!!! NEW!!!

New Flush Mount Wedding Albums are here!

They are very similar to the Coffee Table Albums that we have always offered. The layouts work the same way as the coffee table albums. The images are designed in a layout and printed into the book. There are no loose images, everyting is printed onto the pages. There are a few subtle differences. The pages are about twice as thick and are mounted on thin boards instead of the thin foam. The leather cover is also a bit thicker . Due to the thicker pages and cover it seems that they will hold up a bit better to wear and tear.

You can also now have a printed cover! Your images are printed directly onto hardbound leather. I love this new option! The design wraps around the entire book. You can have images or even text printed onto your cover!

You can also now have a printed cover with our Coffee Table Albums.

Portia

Today I had the pleasure of photographing gospel singer Portia W. She has been recording her first album in Atlanta and is nearing the end. Today we took many of the photos to be included in her CD jacket and also for later promotional uses. We did our shoot outside to incorporate nature to symbolize the inspiration she had for her music and lyrics.

Images like these were taken with the knowledge that other graphics will be layered on top to fit with the overall concept of the album.

Portia was a lot of fun to photograph and I hope that she finds much success!

On Saturday I spent the afternoon shooting Lori and Daniel's engagement photographs. We braved the heat and acheived some really amazing shots! We did our photoshoot in the outskirts of downtown Atlanta at a beautiful castle like structure! Lori and Daniel are a fun couple as you can tell from some of our shots!

They are getting married in October on the beach at Jekyll Island. I always love beach weddings and I know this one will be no exception!

Heather's Growing Family

On Friday afternoon I was lucky enough to spend it photographing a beautiful growing family. Heather is already a mother of one and is expecting baby number two! We took some really great shots of the entire family and then took some beautiful intimate photos of Heather with her belly. Baby Mallory should make her grand appearance sometime in July and I wish them all the best!

This was one of my favorite shots of Heather and Adam. I love the light and the expressions on their faces.

Lindsey and Neal were wed on June 7, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Atlanta. Lindsey looked beautiful in a gorgeous gown with intricate detailing. The ceremony and reception were both elegantly decorated and set in the majestic hotel.

This was one of my favorite shots of Lindsey from the day. I loved the silhouette of her flowing gown with the sepia tone effect.
